1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using SyncLyn, you agree to these Terms. If you are signing up on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. The service
SyncLyn is a software-as-a-service platform for messaging automation, workflow building, customer relationship management, and applicant tracking. The features available to you depend on the plan you have selected.
3. Account responsibilities
- Keep your login credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account, including invited team members.
- Notify us at security@synclyntech.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Provide accurate information at signup and keep it up to date.
4. Plans, billing, and cancellation
- The Free plan is available indefinitely with no payment required.
- Paid plans bill monthly in advance via Stripe. The plan you select on signup or in Settings determines what you are charged.
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Changes take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the next billing cycle.
- We do not refund partial months. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of your paid period.
- Failed payments trigger a grace period of 7 days. After that, paid features are suspended until billing is restored.
- Prices are exclusive of VAT, which is added where applicable.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use SyncLyn to:
- Send spam, deceptive messages, or content that violates anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, PECR, GDPR).
- Distribute malware or attempt to compromise the platform.
- Process personal data without a lawful basis or store it without appropriate consent.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or rate-limit-bypass the service.
- Resell SyncLyn to third parties without a written reseller agreement.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. We will give reasonable notice where the situation allows.
6. Your data
You own the data you upload. We act as a data processor on your behalf. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
7. Intellectual property
SyncLyn, the SyncLyn logo, and all underlying software are the property of LaneX Holdings Ltd. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for the duration of your subscription. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership.
8. Service availability
We aim to keep SyncLyn available 24/7 and to publish status updates during incidents. We do not commit to a specific uptime SLA on the Free, Starter, Growth, or Pro plans. Business plan customers receive a 99.9% monthly uptime commitment with service credits — see your plan agreement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of SyncLyn is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of profit, data, or business opportunity, except where such liability cannot be excluded under English law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any third-party claim arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your breach of applicable law.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. On termination, we will retain your data for 30 days, then delete it permanently. You can request earlier deletion in writing.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be emailed to the account owner with at least 14 days' notice.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
